Storytime Theme: Hibernation & Migration
This week I’m sharing a list of titles that might work a little better for preschool or even elementary school-age kids. I’ll definitely be sharing other winter themes, but for today I’m sharing just a few books about hibernation and migration!
This set of books includes some stories but relies more heavily on nonfiction text. I love using nonfiction text in storytime and what’s great is that you can pick and choose the parts to share. There’s no rule stating you have to read a book word-for-word! This would be a perfect set of books to share for a STEM storytime. I’m also including a few activities you could do during the program or at home!
